She’s a California girl with the finest eye for all things style. You name it, from fashion to beauty, art and design. We catch up with the talented Cynthia Lions to talk about the beautiful things in life, like our favorite topic: skincare.
Tell us about yourself, who you are, what makes you unique? We’d like to get to know you.
My name is Cynthia and I am a graphic designer based in LA, a new momma and beauty addict!
Why is good skin so important to you?
I’ve dealt with acne through many stages of my life. When my skin looks and feels good, I know I have been taking care of myself. When my skin breaks out, it’s usually because I have been eating poorly (too many gummy bears), stressed out or sleep deprived. Now I see my skin as a reflection of my lifestyle!
Do you have a favorite Dr. Dennis Gross product? Tell us why!
I was first introduced to the brand through the Alpha Beta Daily Peels while I was in college so that will forever be a favorite product of mine. My face always looks brighter and feels smoother after and they’re so easy to store for travel and daily use!
What’s your Top 5 ‘can’t-live-without’ beauty products?
SPF, concealer, mascara, some sort of brow product and lipstick!
Do you have any insider tips when it comes to your skincare regimen?
I used to change up my skincare too frequently, testing out new products all the time, but I’ve found that really sticking to a much more simplified routine works best for me. I also really enjoy multi-masking. I like applying two types of masks that address different issues. I like to use a clay or charcoal mask on my t-zone and then a moisturizing mask everywhere else on the face.
