Anybody who knows me understands my love affair with nutrition or ‘skin food’ as I like to call it, especially what a good diet does for your glow! I’m a fanatic when it comes to anything juiced, blended or pressed.
I don’t often mix fruit and veggie as it’s too much sugar, instead I lean towards a hardcore green option.
Below is one of my all-time favorite green smoothies, it’s vegan and diary-free. It’s loaded with antioxidants which are amazing for your skin’s natural radiance. This smoothie also boosts energy and keeps you hydrated, which is also super important for maintaining a healthy inside and out.
Blend thoroughly and drink up:
2 cups spinach
2 cups kale
1 lemon
1 knob of ginger
½ cup coconut water
Cup of ice
In summer I do love a fresh blend of watermelon, lime, mint blended (sometimes adding a splash of tequila)! A healthy play of a virgin mojito!
